Gastropub De Kleine Wereld is located in a monumental building dating from 1585, right next to Onze Lieve Vrouwe Kerk on the Grote Markt in Breda. What was known as Café De Kleine Wereld since 2005 continues under the new name: Gastropub De Kleine Wereld since 2021.
"Gastropub" is a combination of "gastronomy" and "café", and originated in England in the early 1990's, a concept that aims to merge the traditional pub atmosphere, good booze, cool beers and good music with an offer of quality food that goes beyond the standard snacks.
