Virgo is ontstaan in 1974 en bestaat dus ondertussen al langer dan 45 jaar. Met zo’n 400 leden hebben we genoeg mensen om er mooi feestje van te maken tijdens jouw studententijd in Breda. Onze vereniging staat bekend om de mooie feestjes zoals 1000 palm en pré carnaval. Verder heeft Virgo een eigen sociëteit waar overdag gestudeerd wordt, hier helpen leden elkaar voortdurend. Als de avond valt en het schoolwerk voorbij is wordt de sociëteit een echt feest café waar we gezellig met elkaar borrelen en kletsen over alles wat er nog meer bij het studentenleven komt kijken. Student Association Virgo was founded in 1974, thus has existed for over 45 years! With about 400 members we have got plenty to throw great parties during your time as a student in Breda. Two of our famous annual parties are “1000 PALM” and “Pre Carnaval”. On top of that Virgo has its own bar where we study during daytime, our members help each other constantly with their studies. When night falls and the schoolwork is finished the bar evolves into a party scene where we have drinks and chat about everything student life comes with.
Though student association Virgo was originally linked to the academies AE&I and ATGM at Avans University of Applied Sciences, since two years we accept all students of Breda to become a member of our association. Virgo is an association without compulsory introduction or other obligations. You are always free to come and go when you want to. You decide how much time you spend on the association.
