This is a faithful copy of the official border posts and was placed here in 1976 to commemorate the official establishment of the border between the Netherlands and Belgium between border posts 214 and 215. This border post symbolizes all international intersections within the Baarles. Both numbers are mentioned on this barrier and the national lion is depicted on each side.
